ADF Visit to the ICAC: Promoting the Guardian Role of Accounting Professionals

On 21 September 2026, the Private Sector Integrity Centre (PSIC) welcomed some 50 members of the Accounting Development Foundation (ADF), led by Chairman Mr Edwin Yeung and Immediate Past Chairman Mr Louis Chow, for a visit to the ICAC and a seminar on the guardian role of accounting professionals in upholding integrity.

The PSIC speaker highlighted that integrity and professional ethics are key for accountants to discharge their duties effectively, while their expertise in financial controls and risk management can help strengthen corporate governance and guard against corruption risks.

ADF members also joined a guided tour to the ICAC Exhibition Hall, gaining a  deeper understanding of the ICAC’s culture and its commitment to fostering a fair, just, and corruption-free society.

PSIC looks forward to continuing its collaboration with professional bodies to champion professional ethics, integrity management, and sound corporate governance across the private sector.
