Over 50 members of the Hong Kong Independent Non-Executive Director Association (HKiNEDA) recently visited the ICAC for a seminar on “Enhancing Board Oversight: INEDs’ Role in Anti-Corruption and Ethical Governance”. ICAC representatives shared key insights on:
International recognition — International ranking continues to affirm Hong Kong’s position as one of the world’s cleanest business environments, reinforcing investor confidence and strengthening the city’s reputation as a leading international financial hub.
Practical support for directors and professionals — The ICAC reinforced the importance of ethical leadership and introduced dedicated resources and advisory services, equipping members with tools to enhance ethical governance.
The members engaged in a fruitful and lively exchange of views with the ICAC representatives, and the visit concluded with a guided tour of the ICAC Exhibition Hall and Café 1974.
